Warning: Spoilers ahead from American Horror Story: Apocalypse.

Surprise, bitch! I bet you thought you'd seen the last of American Horror Story's witches. American Horror Story: Apocalypse ended with new witch Mallory saving the world, and tweaking the AHS timeline, before the story shifted to a new little Antichrist. But there are more spells ahead for my beloved coven, as promised by Ryan Murphy himself:

The witches will be back. Not next season. But we have onething really fun planned.

Yessss, but will Myrtle Snow return with them? That's what I care about.

Ryan Murphy shared the scoop with ET while getting a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. American Horror Story has already been renewed for two future seasons -- Season 9 in 2019 and Season 10 in 2020. So if the witches won't return for AHS, it stands to reason he means Season 10.

So who would return from the Coven of Season 3 and Apocalypse crossover of Season 8? It was too soon for Ryan Murphy to share that much, but maybe we'd even be blessed with a visit from Jessica Lange's Fiona Goode herself? That's just wishful thinking -- Queen Jessica is like Gandalf, she shows up precisely when she means to.

If the witches will return, it would make sense to see Sarah Paulson as Cordelia Goode, at the very least, plus Billie Lourd as new witch savior Mallory; Taissa Farmiga's Zoe; Gabourey Sidibe's Queenie; Lily Rabe's Misty Day; maybe Angela Bassett's Marie Laveau; and Emma Roberts' Madison Montgomery -- if they decide to go back and rescue Madison from retail hell.

What about Myrtle Snow? Frances Conroy's Myrtle was left dead via Mallory's time travel at the end of Apocalypse, so they'd have to revive her again. It would be worth it, though. Also Jamie Brewer's Nan was left in hell because it turns out she likes it there. And what about Stevie Nicks? Would she come back with the witches, too?

Ryan Murphy didn't have any updates on American Horror Story Season 10, and he didn't even offer anything on the next Season 9, other than this:

I can't say what it is! I'm going to this luncheon, and many of the Horror Story actors are there, and I'm gonna tell them for the first time. So I have to tell them first.

As ET noted, Ryan Murphy was joined at his big ceremony by American Horror Story regulars like Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, and Cody Fern.

American Horror Story: Apocalypse was arguably the most highly anticipated season because it directly connected two of the most popular seasons -- Murder House and Coven. The Coven witches are always a delight, so any tease of their return is most welcome. There's no saying whether their return would connect to the new Antichrist baby introduced at the end of Apocalypse. And we have no clue at this point what Season 9 may be about.

American Horror Story tends to premiere new seasons in either October (for the early seasons) or September (for the most recent three seasons). So AHS Season 9, whatever it will eventually be called, will most likely premiere September 2019 on FX. This show knows from a good tease, and the promo build-up to a new season is often the best part. Expect that to kick into high gear this summer.

In the meantime, here's what's still on TV in 2018, and what we know is ahead for midseason 2019.
